It was a Friday night, and a group of friends were gathered in a living room, discussing their plans for the weekend. They had been talking about going on a trip for weeks, and they had finally decided on a destination: a remote cabin in the woods.

The friends were all excited about the trip. They packed their bags and set off on their adventure.

The drive to the cabin was long and winding. The friends passed through small towns and dense forests. As they got closer to their destination, the weather started to change. The sky grew dark and cloudy, and the wind picked up.

The friends started to get worried. They had heard stories about dangerous storms in the area, and they didn't want to be caught in one.

They decided to stop at a gas station to check the weather forecast. The news was not good. A severe storm was expected to hit the area that night.

The friends knew that they should turn back, but they didn't want to disappoint each other. They decided to continue on to the cabin, hoping that the storm would pass them by.

When they arrived at the cabin, it was already dark. The wind was howling and the rain was coming down in sheets.

The friends huddled inside the cabin, hoping to stay warm and dry. But the storm was too strong. The wind blew the rain through the cracks in the walls, and the friends soon found themselves soaked to the bone.

The friends tried to stay positive, but they were getting scared. The storm was getting worse, and they were starting to lose hope.

Suddenly, they heard a loud crash. The cabin shook, and the lights went out.

The friends screamed in terror. They didn't know what had happened, but they knew that they were in danger.

They stumbled around in the darkness, trying to find their way out of the cabin. But the door was jammed, and they couldn't open it.

The friends were trapped. They were all alone, and they didn't know what to do.

The storm raged on for hours. The friends huddled together for warmth, but they were still cold and scared.

As the night wore on, the friends started to lose hope. They knew that they couldn't survive much longer in the cold and the wet.

Just when they were about to give up, they heard a noise outside. They listened intently, and they realized that it was someone calling for help.

The friends rushed to the window and looked outside. They saw a man standing in the rain, waving his arms.

The friends shouted to the man, and he came running towards the cabin. He opened the door and let the friends in.

The friends were so relieved to be rescued. They thanked the man for saving them, and they all went to bed.

The next morning, the friends woke up to find that the storm had passed. They went outside and looked around. The cabin was still standing, but it was badly damaged.

The friends knew that they had been lucky to survive. They had learned their lesson: never leave on Friday.

The friends packed up their things and headed home. They were all a little shaken up, but they were glad to be alive.

As they drove home, the friends talked about what had happened. They agreed that they had been foolish to ignore the travel warnings. They knew that they could have easily died.

The friends never went on another trip to the remote cabin in the woods. But they never forgot the lesson they had learned: never leave on Friday.
